@avclub-7a5a3fe4ae33de425d06ac4fe8d097d2:disqus @avclub-61938d93498e7f0ed5e6527b1cee656a:disqus I'm pretty sure that Walt probably just told him. I think he pretty much keeps Saul in the loop on everything.
@avclub-5bc6960dad8ab0694bb4d6ff884b0c1e:disqus Have you ever seen the actor's standup? There is DEFINITELY some weird wiring up there.
Nah man, I had a fake ID for underage drinking purposes from the time I was 17. It had my actual birthday on it, just a different year. It's easier to remember that way. It's quite possible that Walt would have a false identity but still use his date of birth.
It wasn't 2 days, it was at least a week. Zero doubt that Hank is the one that planted it, and I would assume we will never hear anymore about it.
It's absolutely absurd for anyone to think that the cancer returning is a red herring. It's back. Not really any question about it.
A couple of thoughts:
Best part of that interview is where he says that people on that street often think his character is named "Sal," as opposed to "Saul."
Hahahaaha…now that is funny.
It was one of the most heart-wrenching things I've ever read.
@avclub-fb6b1211c51d2fe25da19c2b42fefd74:disqus Fair enough…his early career versatility really is amazing when you think about it.
@avclub-ede79a5ee534f274b5f109567e6c4722:disqus Well, true, Luna & Nora didn't count, but I'm about 99.9% certain that Terry did count.
@avclub-fb6b1211c51d2fe25da19c2b42fefd74:disqus He made both The American President & Ghosts of Mississippi after North, which I wouldn't describe as mediocre. I suppose you disagree, though.
@avclub-10d3783afeeeaf131f3cbd3a680fef99:disqus It simply said No Trespassing by Order of Albuquerque Police Department (maybe Sheriff's Dept.? cant remember for sure). I was actually thinking foreclosure might be more likely than seizure.
@avclub-d019eb089e65903455cc52308f00b997:disqus Actually, Up The Junction was playing when he went into the bathroom. When he came out, If I Didn't Love You was playing.
I think that was my favorite little moment of the night. I suspect it won't be long before Marie believes that literally.
@avclub-f9c2801a33e8b736477d9b364dab1130:disqus "A Perfect Day To Chase Tornadoes" is probably one of my 20 fav songs of all time…Jim White is criminally underrated.
@avclub-ffc2c137ac50f2b5c98536d558642273:disqus I didn't miss the literary concept and I sure as hell didn't miss the callback. But that particular scene was horribly reviewed herein, and if you don't think otherwise, then we strongly disagree. We can argue metaphors, allusions, etc. all you want…but the review sure…
I second that. I think that, to some extent, Hank knows very well to take the "tread lightly" advice to heart.
@avclub-41e23e24ee2670c4128cd7e5e5ee42ab:disqus thanks for the input. Throughout the run of this series and the AV Club reviews, there have been factual errors (not analytical errors…FACTUAL errors) in well over half the reviews. It's sloppy. And it's takes away from the review, making it a less serious endeavor. …
