I totally forgot about that! But now that you've reminded me, I refuse to pay more attention to this show's continuity than its writers do! ;)

"And then I'm going to show that windmill over there what for!"

They way he kept shaking his head was maddening. I know he knew it was a terrible movie, but for god's sake, man, pull yourself together and PRETEND to not be dying inside!

I would think getting the only fully-qualified doctor they have back from captivity would be a high priority for everyone and not just the Masons. Lourdes has at best a couple of years of field training and yet she is apparently the next most qualified medico they have.

Well, plants do have stamens, too!

Wow.

To be fair to apdogtown, this is pretty much how all people complaining about spoilers come across.

Except that this is actually what people said out loud in that era. Hell, they were still making fun of Japanese cars in the late 70s and even into the 80s, right before they started taking over.

That was great, though I think that was more of a depth perception gag than a not-seeing the hand gag. One working eye = no depth perception.

Well, since a lot of this planet's architecture looks — not to be crude — very penile, maybe that was the intent. I thought it looked very organic, much like flowers which are plant vaginas, after all, so…

They just confirmed Weevil today. They're releasing one new signed cast member name per day this week.

Wow, did you pick the right avatar. You must get your beak blasted off regularly.

Everybody was like, "YAY, WALLACE!" AND then, "Oh. Yeah… hi, Piz."

Are you one of those people who thinks The Colbert Report is serious? 'Cause you sound like you are.

Alias starts out amazing but becomes horrible sometime in the late 2nd or 3rd season (IIRC which I might not. I gave up on it before it descended into its worstness). I think most of us are just too scarred by the latter day stupid to remember the early awesome.

And yet Shada was transformed into the excellent Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency so it can't have been all bad.

There has been a ton of violence and death-related foreshadowing this season. Last season, all the plummeting to doom foreshadowing ended with Lane's suicide. Something is being foreshadowed and it seems to center around Megan. None of this is crazy, though some of the theories themselves are pretty far-fetched. It is

The actual original Megan theory, though, was not that she was a ghost but that she was killed while Don was in California and as of the last episode's end, he hadn't discovered this yet (so "already dead" for a very short period of time prior to the reveal). This is actually not a crazy theory at all.

I liked it fine. It erred mostly on being far too earnest. Harmon always seemed to be able to nail a certain level of earnestness without going too far in the other direction into hipster irony and the Season 4 folk just couldn't stick that landing.
