IMHO, he cares for Jesse because he's his prize pupil.  After 10+ years of teaching high school chemistry where large numbers of the students are there because they have to be, he finally has one who shows a little enthusiasm for the subject, whom he can lecture to at will and ad nauseam, and who seems to be learning

Not to mention Harrison's secret life!  BTW, are we getting an update on him this week?

But there are three episodes left!  At the rate the show's going, if this one is an F the next one is going to be a Q, then a Z, and then they're going to have to make up new letters for the finale.

Aha!  That's the spin-off we've been reading rumors about.

I think Hank was on the verge of telling Gomie when he asked him to reschedule his budget meeting and arrange a conference call with Hank's boss.  Then the news about Jesse came in.

His car insurance rates must be through the roof, given how many accidents he's gotten into over the course of the show.  And back when he was married to Rita he was not only supporting a non-wage-earning wife and three children but was keeping up a house and his apartment.

Punisher War Zone?  Was that the gaming geek who worked in the lab and was dating Dexter's babysitter?  Who conveniently disappeared after getting fired?  I'm pretty sure he had some kind of name, like Loser or something.

Hank Schrader, having lost his job with the DEA due to have a drug lord in the family, takes a new gig as head of Miami Metro.  He promptly has a heart attack his first day on the job when he sees how sloppy and incompetent his new team is.  Reviewing the open case files while recuperating at home, he puts 2 and 2

Depends on how old the house is.  I have been in pre-1960 houses with 3 bedrooms and 1 small bath: the multiple bathroom layouts are late 20th century in tract houses.

That's too subtle for Miami Metro:  he'd have to actually murder and dismember (has he stopped doing that this season?) in front of them, while shouting "I killed LaGuerta!  I killed Trinity!  I killed the tableau killer from season 6! I killed Robocop! I've screwed up every case in the last 5 years because you're all

Some sources say she was as young as twelve.  Even though she was married twice more - and was the major Lancastrian claimant to the throne after Henry VI was deposed - she had no more children, possibly due to problems giving birth to Henry.

Dexter and True Blood are my Sunday escapist viewing.  First I watch the absurd one, then the one with the redneck werewolves, shapeshifters and dimension-crossing fairy/vampire hybrids.

Why are we wasting time with the shenanigans in Miami Metro?  I just read that Showtime has signed Scott Buck for a Dexter spin-off: some deluded soul apparently thinks we're interested in watching a Dexter-less series with the same basic cast.
