I think you're correct, at least from Mel's perspective.

Seriously. All I'm doing Memorial Day is grilling and watching AD.
He was great as Fezzik.
@avclub-04d524031f29c89d78cae864bd6f0de7:disqus You're forgetting what he said when leading the first sally in the battle of the Blackwater: "Any man dies with a clean sword, I'll rape his fucking corpse!"
I took it to mean that they're running the heck away from the white walkers. But your way is even creepier.
@avclub-89085904f0bffdb18e6df50da71ac0f5:disqus Yeah, there's a lot less nudity in the books. There's vastly greater sumptuous descriptions of food, though. Inn at the Crossroads is a non-spoiler cooking website devoted to making all the food described in GoT, there was more than enough to put together a full cookbook.
Yeah, not rapey but certainly inappropriate.
There's also the whole issue of grading based in comparison to the show itself, in which a B can be defended when comparing this episode to the awesomeness of episodes 4 and 5 earlier this season. But it falls apart when the grades are also clearly given as in comparison to other shows on TV. There's no way that…
YOU KNOW NOTHING JON IDIOTKING.
Yeah, that's going to be a pretty huge episode. This wedding was a small affair, and the feast wasn't that large either.
Jorah was always a pretty whiny prick. I wish Strong Belwas would just sit on him.
He's had Queen's "Another One Bite's The Dust" on repeat since Renly bought it.
@abp_brendan:disqus I mean, i think a part of it was also "oh, btw, check out crazy hot Emilia Clarke" too, but the show has, thankfully, come a long way from "play with her ass."
Man, an Arya/Hound/Jaime/Brienne/Arya's Murder Friend show would be awesome. Like the Dirty Dozen of Westeros.
GFTO.
They did!
I took it as her being unshaken by a would be assassin showing up when she'd feel at her most vulnerable, and just not giving a fuck because she ain't scare of no scrub mercenaries.
Just wait until the Doctor faces off against the White Walkers in the 50 year anniversary. This past Christmas Special was just a warmup!
Yeah, and the wedding IS the plot moving along.
They're testing for that in athletics now. You can always tell when someone is on it, though, because their hair goes black and they start crowning themselves.
