What if in 10 years, Weiner has an interview a la David Chase about the final scene, and he reveals that Don only created HALF of the ad?

Agreed about him (Evan Arnold). He was certainly the new character who made the biggest impact, but we also have to talk about Angie. Goddamn Angie, ruining everything.
I also really liked Tom and Lorenzo's posts.
The episode should've ended with a big conference call between all of the characters.
I agree, it was devastating. I did find it kind of funny though that Don's reaction to "Betty has lung cancer" is to immediately light up a cigarette. Also, if I remember correctly, smoke gets in his eyes there, so I guess I'm taking that as a callback to the pilot.
Yeah, Joan and Peggy are the best. I loved their role reversals in this episode: the former realizing that she wants the work, the latter realizing she wants the relationship outside of work. And both of them are happy with it, which is wonderful to see.
Yeah, this cast is amazing. Elisabeth Moss was perfect in that phone call with Stan—her "What?" and "I don't even think about you" were fantastic—the phone call between Don and Betty was devastating, and Don hugging Leonard was the show screaming one last time: "HOW HAVE WE NOT WON ACTING EMMYS?". If you'd asked me…
I know there are hints otherwise—the girl with the ribbons, the "ding" sound before the commercial, his circular pattern the entire series—but I choose to believe that Don did not make that ad (let me have this, guys! I know the evidence is there). It's both cynical and optimistic for me: cynical because that fake,…
Southland is worth watching just for the Michael Cudlitz performance alone. One of my favorite television performances in recent memory. And it's definitely so much more than the premise makes it seem.
Thanks for this, Franko! Not many people have the honor of saying they got last place in the cancellation league, and I would've most likely lost that spot recently had Agent Carter been cancelled (as I predicted). So thank you, Hayley Atwell.

DEADWOOD "NEW MONEY" REVIEW (2x03)
When one part of the Deadwood body falters, other people have to step up to fill some large shoes. That part, of course, is Al Swearengen, who spends the entire running time of “New Money” lying on the floor and incapacitated by his kidney stone. It’s an interesting choice by the…
Well, that was a fairly disappointing ending to what was supposed to be THE series to watch, wasn't it? NBA scheduling really didn't help at all here. Sucked to see so many guys injured throughout.
American Idol is done after next year.
I gave "Time & Life" an A and the last two a B+. I guess I'm a harsher grader.
Agreed. The biggest laughs at mine probably came during the bit where Nathan was going on about how the robots could fuck.
Ex Machina is easily my favorite movie of the year so far, and it's probably going to take, say, a Tarantino to knock it off its throne. I love that it could be funny in one instant and tense as fuck in the next, and the way the conversations were written was phenomenal. It also avoided falling into most of those…
BATTLESTAR GALACTICA Season Four….
EPISODE 1: “HE THAT BELIEVETH IN ME”
I'm pretty sure it was an original song. The brilliant lyrics:
I did post something about the first two season two episodes, but yeah, that was a while back. I will sit down and watch episode 3 soon (hopefully my definition of "soon" this time is not a month later).
