At first, it was supposed to be "Veronica Mars, she's a cocksucker", but that was a little too much for the network so they changed it to "Veronica Mars, she's a marshmallow".

Saw Inherent Vice. Chocolate banana. Liked it a lot, and although it was really, really funny, there was a well handled air of melancholy throughout, of the sadness and loss experienced by all these characters at the end of counterculture. The Doc-Bigfoot relationship was well set up in this regard, and a fantastic…
Veronica Mars Season 2…
EPISODE 1: “Normal is the Watchword”
TAKEN 3
"My wife was taken from me…BY DEATH."
I also would've been happy with a Carrie Coon nomination for Best Supporting Actress. I said this elsewhere, but Disqus has apparently eaten about half the comments in this comment section: I'm really disappointed by the lack of buzz around Gone Girl this awards season, and the lack of an adapted screenplay nod is…
Didn't hand out enough flyers.
The voters probably thought that Birdman was actually done in one take, so they didn't nominate it for editing. Also, I thought Gone Girl's editing was excellent, and it—along with the score, Fincher, the screenplay, etc.—should've been nominated.
I think Carrell is extremely talented and should have won an Emmy for The Office, but I ultimately thought his performance in Foxcatcher was good, not great. Maybe that was because I didn't really like the handling of the character that much, but the real star of the movie was Ruffalo for me.
I kind of wish they had nominated 6-12 year old Ellar Coltrane, but asserted that it was only for those years.
Also, Snowpiercer and The Babadook and Blue Ruin and The Immigrant and Only Lovers Left Alive. Wasn't expecting them to get any nominations, but all should be in the conversation for best movies of the year.
See Whiplash as soon as possible.
"Should we nominate Selma?"
"Nah, that was just the sequel to 12 Years A Slave."
"Ah, right. Here you go, American Sniper."
There was definitely a bit of that "douchey and smug" stuff in The Spectacular Now, but I thought the movie used it well. Teller was fantastic in both.
I haven't had the chance to see A Most Violent Year yet (how was it? I'm sure Oscar Isaac was amazing), but I have seen The Imitation Game, and Keira Knightley's performance is by no means nomination-worthy. And I'm betting Chastain was much better in her movie than Streep was in Into the Woods.
Seriously. Congrats to Morten Tyldum, I guess, for being able to hold up a camera as his movie's Oscar bait bullshit was raining down around him. I also don't know what Bennett Miller is doing there over DuVernay.
I'm pretty disappointed by the lack of buzz around Gone Girl this awards season. It was easily one of my favorite movies of the year, and it not even getting a Best Adapted Screenplay nod is surprising.
I mean, trees? EVERYWHERE TREES?!
I really love how the show can give us different perspectives on the characters that we know and love. We know that they're capable of connecting with and caring for other people, and we normally view them as the good guys; however, by shifting the lens a bit here, they become the relentless pursuers, and they can be…
Turns out the crotch blinder was in you all along.
I'm not sure it would work. I don't know how she or Matt Bomer interacts with people, who I assume would be instantly blinded by their attractiveness.
