DEADWOOD "Mister Wu" Review (1x10)
“Yeah, cocksucker. Swe’gen bring you cocksucker.”

See, that quote alone already made it an A movie in my book.

THE IMITATION GAME
Alan Turing’s story is one that definitely should be told, but it’s one that should be told through an actual movie, not through a collection of meandering scenes that happen to be next to each other. The Imitation Game wants you to be moved, to be fascinated, to be able to learn something about

Yes, you are alone.

Jessica Chastain and Oscar Isaac are the best. This looks like a really awesome movie, and I've liked J.C. Chandor's work thus far; I think I may be looking forward to this even more so than I am Inherent Vice.

DEADWOOD "No Other Sons or Daughters" Review (1x09)
“Taking people’s money is what makes organizations real, be they formal, informal, or temporary.”

Enlightened: I still miss it a lot. A

This is the last month in watching stuff:

MR. TURNER

Yup, exactly. What I like about Veronica Mars is that it combines her "quip machine" factor—which Bell is still amazing at—with more dramatic moments, and it makes good use of her full range of acting skills. But yeah, when she's unleashed in Deadwood, she's scary good.

I definitely will do that. Thanks!

Friday Night Lights is the best. Where are you at right now, and on a scale of 9.5-10, how much do you love Coach and Mrs. Coach?

It's more Mr. I-have-a-laptop-and-no-moral-issues-with-torrents.

I'm definitely excited for It's Always Sunny (last season was amazing), but I'm also looking forward to stuff like Justified, The Americans, Archer, Banshee, Shameless, Looking, Parks and Rec, etc. Much better than the fall season, in my opinion.

DEADWOOD "Suffer the Little Children" Review (1x08)
“You’ve gotta figure out a way to mean it. And if you don’t kill me or let me go, I’m
gonna kill you.”

THE INTERVIEW
This movie is going to be remembered for every reason except it being a good movie. It’s certainly not surprising that North Korea took offense to its release, nor is it surprising that Sony eventually decided to release it, but perhaps the most unsurprising thing about it is the fact that James Franco

And "The Strategy", too, which I liked even more. I might put something like Hannibal or Rectify above Mad Men, but it's still a brilliant show.

TWO DAYS, ONE NIGHT
“You have to fight for your job.”

Kim Dickens is going to be in the Walking Dead spinoff. Nice to see her in a lead role, but she's yet another person who is way too good for that show.
