Hey, you never know. They didn't give it to Cranston last year, so who did they turn around and give it to? Jeff Daniels. 7b being the last year may help, but it's just like the Emmy voters to get all nostalgic over the final season of The Newsroom instead.

And aside from what everyone else mentioned (Rectify and Abigail Spencer+her boots, OITNB, Tatiana Maslany, Masters of Sex, Treme), I'd also like to see some Shameless love. It has a better chance in the comedy category this year, and it just so happens that last season was the least comedic thus far. Emmy Rossum and

McConaughey's most likely going to win and both he and Cranston are deserving, but I'd really love if it they just fucking gave it to Jon Hamm already.

Hannibal.

OTHER THOUGHTS:

Friday Night Lights, Season 5 Episodes 6-9

B.

Battlestar Galactica Season 2.0, Arc 3: “The Stuff that Happens before Pegasus”

An improvement on that final scene

OTHER STUFF:

- “YOU WILL RUN WITH HATE IN YOUR HEARTS!” Billy “AAA is for women” Riggins, I adore you. This episode is, for me, probably the funniest episode the show’s produced; it might have some competition from “Best Laid Plans”, but I’m going with “Kingdom”.

Friday Night Lights—"Kingdom" (Season 5, Episode 5)
“We’re getting there.”

Great episode, as always. The show sets the tone nicely with the first scene for the transition back into an environment in which Daniel's up and about, and it's great to see him talking to Amantha—Abigail Spencer is so good, you guys, if you didn't already know—and Janet again. Yet, there's an underlying truth that

Franko does have a forum account and uses it quite often, I believe, but no reviews have been posted there yet.

I just watched "Kingdom" last night, and there's another contender for the "everything I could've hoped for in an episode of FNL" bullet point. Of course, this means I only have 8 to go. :(

This is a perfect ending to one of the greatest TV seasons of all time, and it would've made a fitting series finale (thankfully, it wasn't). I mean, seriously, this episode has:

Agreed, and it's not just that the polygraph guy insisted he was lying; he made sure to let the woman (and Nathan) know over and over what specifically Nathan was lying about—"He has watched pornography and has used that to pleasure himself" rather than just "He's lying"—and the way he said it made it even funnier.

The Christopher-Morello scene is so hard to watch. Christopher's completely within his rights to freak the fuck out about that break in, and as we know, Morello's clearly disturbed, but it's so difficult not to feel for her there. Thank god for Nicky—I absolutely love the conversation they share afterward.

"You decided to tell me that with your flaccid dick in my mouth?"
"It was a semi…"
"Do NOT defend your boner to me right now."

Friday Night Lights—"Expectations" (5x01)
With change comes expectation, whether that change is for the better or for the worse. When you say goodbye and enter a new phase of your life, there’s always an idea in your head of how it should or how you hope it will turn out: will the transition be smooth or rocky? Will

I started Veronica Mars, and I can tell that I will become obsessed with this show.
