I want the first scene of the next episode to be Selina Meyer running in and yelling at Miriam as Jonah's yelling "GET SOME FUCKING NUTS!", with Hannibal then misconstruing the statement and making a nice testicle dish…

I loved the transition from Hannibal's notes into the Tree Man flowers. As always, beautiful visuals throughout.
Caroline Dhavernas was stunning in that blue dress.
Yeah, most notably Riggins/Saracen skipping school and the subsequent heartbreak of the shower scene during the penultimate episode.
I'm male, but I'd love to be married to Coach.
Yeah, when I covered the show over at the TI Forum, most newbies' first worry about starting it was the sports element. If there are any here, let me just say that you absolutely do not need to be a sports fan to love this show. It's definitely important character-wise, thematically, and structurally (the football…
Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler are amazing. They nail every scene they're in, and Coach and Mrs. Coach are two of my favorite television characters ever.
Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose.
Most of HBO's title sequences are excellent, and yes, I love the BoB one. It's long, but it's fantastic. I always fast forward through title sequences after the first time I see them, no matter how good or short they are (hell, I FF through the 10 seconds it takes for Lost), but man, the visuals and music here are…
Interesting. I really should get around to The Pacific sometime. I thought BoB handled those elements very effectively, but maybe The Pacific did it better. I look forward to watching.
And going off this episode in particular, that final scene with the planes heading off into battle is excellent at building up the tension and the dread. This episode is more of a "calm before the storm", but man, that sequence. You started to get to know the characters, but now, they're being sent off to war, and…
It was the same for me, but I do remember being drawn to Winters right off the bat. Lewis is pretty much perfect, and his character is quietly confident, dignified, and likeable. He's the series' "hero" without coming across as the typical portrayal of a war-time "hero".
I had so much fun with that. Hey, it's Robert Quarles! Charlie Francis! Nick Brody! John Cooper! Simon Pegg! Michael Fassbender! etc., etc. They were all unknowns at the time—and I think that was a great choice—but man, what an impressive cast it turned out to be.
Yeah, I can definitely understand the criticisms of the handling of the character, but Schwimmer does such a good job, especially when he's told he's being reassigned.
From the very first minute, it's clear that this series isn't going to focus on the war itself, but rather the men of Easy Company who grow and change and are affected by it; through them, we then gain more insight into the war. At the beginning of each episode, we see the real-life soldiers, the real people who we'll…
If HBO doesn't take these series off On Demand anytime soon (NEVER would be fantastic), and if time permits (it will most likely not), then it looks like I'll be watching all of The Sopranos, Deadwood, The Wire, Rome, Carnivale, Six Feet Under, Oz, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Okay, I'll check that out tomorrow. Right now, I'm on the Comcast HBO page, and it doesn't seem to show the expiration dates.
Is there any word on how long this will last? There are quite a few shows I've never seen that I'd like to watch.
I really like the similarity between Raylan's walk away from the conference room in this episode and his walk away from Augustine's limo. Two risky choices, but he felt like he had to make them; one of them, he's mostly gotten away with up to this point. The other? That's to be seen, but I have a feeling his gamble…
Can Tim and Rachel save her? Like, parachute in and everything, followed by some witty banter and Tim subduing the guards with his good looks.
