Depends on how much extra wear and tear the car experiences driving around all day, and what other hassles I may have to deal with with strangers getting in and out of my car all day doing god knows what.
The issue is to do it so that you don’t lose money, or more generally to make it financially worth your while to do. Must Uber and Lyft drivers are barely scraping by as is and are nowhere close to recouping the cost of their regular car.
I personally wouldn’t pay anything because even with some pretty generous assumptions that’s only $100/day over the lifetime of the vehicle.
