Dear TWD writing staff:
Countdown until I get a Change.org email asking me to sign a petition.
Huge slam on Honda from out of nowhere. Amelie must drive one of those hip Buicks.
I'd say that's a pretty liberal use of snark, seeing as Honda has been the most mechanically reliable auto company for the last, I don't know, like 15 years or something?
Such a good song, except for the crazy choir that sounds like they're all orgasming in harmony at the end.
So is it racist or just lazy that Glenn is just an older version of Short Round from Temple of Doom?
"Coming out of the barn" should be slang for telling your parents you're a zombie.
I always felt like her shtick was the kind of cute, sweet, ditsy blonde. The ditsy and blonde is still there, but now that she's objectively unattractive and vitriolic, all you have left is an average tea partier.
God, I really hope you're right.
Right? I'm going to start having to forego the "next on" sequences.
I'm bad at internetting; how does one tag a post for spoilers?
Where I grew up, we made our gates out of wood and plain old paint. We didn't have the need for all these fancy pearls and gold leaf. And we somehow survived without harp music and made do with a slide whistle that cost a nickel. I guess I'm old-fashioned, but I prefer the feel of freshly mowed fescue to clouds.
This, like most of Bouchard's shows, are fine examples of what can be done when you make the radical decision to hire funny people and let them be funny.
Holy Internet Comments, Batman! Thanks to all for your congratulations and well-wishes. I promise I wasn't fishing for that, only making an unimportant point about a television show, but damned if I'm not moved by a bunch of strangers' positive vibes. Quick, someone say "You're daughters a fagget!!!1!!" before I…
For most episodes, I agree. And the reason for that is that the comic keeps moving, non-stop. There are always more zombies (or not-yet-undead-people) attacking, or they're on the move. I don't recall anywhere in the comic that there's ten pages without any type of action. You definitely get lots of ten-minute…
The dialogue is SOOOO much better than the comic, though.
IN DEFENSE OF LORI:
Zack's just seen a few episodes more than us, where Shane starts biting other members of the group and they also become Shane.
Agreed. For both bands. What I don't get is that people went gaga over TMBG's polished turd and hated TA's crappy gem. All in all, I'd say they met in the middle.
It's impossible to mention indie bands in any type of art and it not sound forced. That being said, I've been obsessed with finding out what was actually playing. Did anyone identify it? I thought it sounded a little like Wye Oak, but it was down pretty low. I hate that they reeled me in like this.
