I think the guy is a comedic genius and a genuinely fine actor, but it's not like he hasn't been involved in shitty movies before, even ones where he was a major creative voice.

I want some a dat pepper steak!

BOB SUX

Pretty insane amount of special features on the blu-ray too (can't speak for the dvds).

He didn't pee on the food to keep everyone from becoming a goblin; he did it to keep them from turning into plants, which the goblins would then eat. Hence perhaps the 2nd most famous line in the movie: "They're eating her! Then they're gonna eat me! Oh my GAAAAAWWDD!"

"I'd rather see a movie about that dentist who played the lead (I think)"

A life of adventure and song is the life for us, eh friend?

Just picked up the blu-ray of seasons 1 and 2 at Target for $35 each. I think you can also buy everything including season 3 on iTunes.

It's awfully disheartening to listen to something as hilarious, entertaining, thought-provoking and joyous as Harmontown on a weekly basis, then click on an article about Dan Harmon and see 100+ comments that amount to "fuck this whiny asshole."

THE GUN IS GOOD. THE PENIS IS EVIL.

I'll sex your monkey all night long!

I just read the full Wikipedia synopsis and it's even more perplexing. I probably watched The Lost Boys and License to Drive about 50 times each in the late 80s, so I was probably the target demographic for this movie, but I remember trying to watch it and being totally unable to follow it. All people really care

Every time there's an article about this movie, I still can't believe it's an actual thing that is happening, even when there are photos from the set. Same with the RoboCop remake.

Yeah, I was about the point out the US/Canada thing myself.

Re: Heroes. Bryan Fuller wasn't really the main creative voice on the show and as mentioned in the article it went way downhill when he departed but it's worth noting he wrote what I think are widely considered 2 of the very best episodes of the series.

Don't remember it all that well, but from what I can recall, of all the body-switching comedies of the 80s, Dream a Little Dream was by far the most bizarre and confusing.

I think you're onto something. Seems like he's really funny and a good writer but it was hard for me to watch him in a lead role.

It has to be fan-fucking-tastic to negate the presence of Dane Cook. Or at least have Dane Cook killed with a shovel. Does someone kill him with a shovel?

Crazy!
