I'm trying really hard not to keep whining that The Residents seem applicable to many of these music-related lists, but never seem to be included.  Well, not that hard, obviously.

@avclub-951d3e731b6b2ac1e93cbba6e1b68e80:disqus  Yours is probably more common than my spelling.  I think it mostly depends on whoever was using Yiddish around you, if they ever actually wrote it down, was coming at it more from the Hebrew side or the German side.

I've seen tokhes spelled many ways in my life, but that one's new on me.  At first I seriously thought you meant "toucan" and was very confused by the direction the show has taken since I'd given up on it.
