Oh, yeah, you're right, Georgetown Arms is her complex, I think. I guess I had the perception that housing wasn't as big a chunk of people's salaries back then, but that's probably just tied to notions of ever-rising costs of living through the years.

I think her bathroom is off the bedroom, if I'm not mistaken. I am always surprised at how tiny Martha's apartment is though, she has a good job, it seems she could afford more than a glorified efficiency.

I have a feeling that quite a few storylines are going to be carried over into next season (as some have from the past 2), which is fine by me. I really enjoy this drawn-out story-telling that the show does; it encourages close attention and feels rewarding when something from season 1 becomes a major plot point in

Yeah, but- there was a palpable feeling this episode of everything being in place and the train leaving the station.

What blew my mind from Claudia & Gabriel's conversation was that the Centre was seriously think about shutting down Directorate S! What in the hell would've been P&E's outcome from that? I can't even imagine.

Hell, I'm getting sick of Maurice and his strong-arm, sneering, patriarchal ways. Elizabeth needs to, somehow, someway, nip that shit in the bud.

I think … she doesn't want to know for sure. I think she has suspicions and I think what Clark really is has definitely entered her mind, probably a lot, and it's getting harder for her to avoid seeing the truth with every thing that happened this episode.

I need to know what Clark showing Philip's true face means for Martha, like now! Is it a sign of trust so she'll trust him? Is it an ultimatum so she'll have to change her mind? Or is she straight up dunzo like most people who see Philip and Elizabeth's true spy faces? I can't wait for this finale.

Sutton Foster is so good in this. And Debi Mazar is still friends with Madonna! Also, she has amazing eyes.

It's a 100 Grand bar, right? They are good.

My thoughts are that Holly Taylor just has really gorgeous hair.

I see. Dang, Maurice needs to slow his roll then, because he has no idea how dangerous Elizabeth is. But you know, Lisa is too good for him anyway, so go ahead, Maurice.

I'm a bit surprised at this reaction, the reviewer seems to think this way too- he says she allows her understanding of his situation to be trumped by her self-preservation tactics. That wasn't how I read her last 2 scenes at all. I saw a glimpse of redemption and her allowing herself to feel again. She didn't have to

What does Maurice know, and how does he know it? Meaning, can he possibly be thinking spy shit and that Elizabeth is one? If not, what? How does that guy come by that level of awareness?

Yes! I can't believe I forgot that, I was obsessed with those costumes at one time, and the interior decor too. There were even people still listening to disco (Lizzy Kaplan!), though most people seemed to be aware it was on its way out.

Right? It was just a look, but there was something. I can't wait to see what manifests on this show!

Thanks, although Don is nothing if not pragmatic, so you could be right. I just figure at this stage of the game Don doesn't want another death on his/the firm's collective hands.

That whole laundry list of rich people problems that Pete was bitching about, classic Pete!

I think Don was afraid of that when Ken was in the phone booth and he told him not to do anything rash, it's just a job. Flashbacks to Lane, probably.

Especially since that's not what 1980 looked like (I watch the Americans!), it looked like the late 70's.
