It reminded me of the way some of the Little Golden Books are illustrated. Somehow both cute and bland at the same time.

I hope, when "Downton Abbey" finally ends, the final scene shows Edith as an old lady, with lots of grandchildren, and fame and fortune from having published her tell-all memoirs.

I loved the episode, but at the end I was thinking how funny it would've been for Jake to have a line about partying with Cheryl.

Pooh-Sticks! A.A. Milne's stories were published right around that time too, I think.

There's also a lot in common with "Monarch of the Glen" (pretty much a modern, funnier DA), which, funnily enough, actually has Julian Fellowes starring as the lordly neighbor Kilwillie (who's ended up being one of my favorite characters. He's really very funny).

The moon from "A Trip to the Moon."

The unfortunate downside to Muppet-ownership, is that some of the materials will disintegrate over time (see also: the story of the Hoggle costume), although Kermit might last longer, since he's made of felt.

I rarely go to the movies these days, but I'm glad I shelled out for "Dawn of the PotA." I haven't been that drawn into a movie in a long time.

Doing detective work in the upper branches?

I agree. This and the dance with Juliet Prowse are the only two skits that I will just skip through.
