That's awesome

Ha it doesn't suck I guess but it is my least favorite by them, I was just doing a hot take. I dunno it has great songs ("Sweet Talk, Sweet Talk" is an all-time fave, more Kathryn Calder pls thx) but most of it just never clicked with me.

I haven't seen them since the Challengers tour but he wasn't there that night and they only played one his songs ("Testament to Youth In Verse" I think), and just had Carl sing it.

Yeah I'm not feeling it too much either outside of the title track and a couple others. Apparently I'm in the minority but I think Bejar's songs are pretty vital to the band.

"Myriad Harbour" is my favorite NPs song. Also while I'm on your bad side…Together sucks. *runs away*

I like the album a lot, but because I'm an idiot I had built it up to expect a legacy-cementing masterpiece so it falls a little short. I definitely like Honeybear better. As someone else said, after the first 3 songs it doesn't go anywhere totally interesting music-wise. I've listened 4 or 5 times and can't really

This is my favorite part

Yeah I love that line from "Afterthought." There's a surprising amount of sports references, I wonder if that's a new interest for him. There was that line in "Breezy" about someone trying to teach him about baseball way back when.

Did you see Big Thief just announced a new album out in June yesterday? Barely a year after the debut, that's impressive.

They're doing all of the week's reviews in a single article now, but they don't show up in the reviews panel. Someone should do something about that.

"Napalm" fucking rocks

I think I'm almost done with Night in the Woods. It's fun and I enjoyed it for a while but the repetitiveness is starting to grate. Every day is walking through the same areas having quirky conversations with the same people. I may be too anal about trying to do everything possible though which wouldn't help.

Pure Comedy by FJM. "Leaving LA" is a stunning song.

I started the first Dark Tower book even though I've never read a word of Stephen King until now, which I'm advised is a bit foolhardy. Not bad so far.

I think it's pretty easily mine. Tons of other great ones on there of course but it's so grand and epic.

There are days when "The Great Curve" is my favorite TH song

Bright Eyes - Reinvent The Wheel
The National - England
The Lonely Island - Compliments
Craig Finn - It Hits When It Hits
Arcade Fire - Crown of Love
Depeche Mode - Halo

I think he did take his time, season 1 aired in November 2015

Ha I still didn't get it until I read your comment

That was great. The whole gala scene was so fraught with tension even though it was pretty obvious who was going to die. Seeing the images and costumes from the opening credits finally playing out i real time was satisfying too.
