How did you end up liking Purity?
How did you end up liking Purity?
Troegs' Nugget Nectar came to SW PA this week. I will need a lot of it.
I recently started The Brothers Karamazov. I read it 8 or 9 years ago and remember liking it a lot, but with my memory that means I may as well have never read it at all. My only concern is I've gotten MUCH dumber in the intervening years.
It wasn't a grocery store but the coffeeshop I was in yesterday was very 2000s-indie. I heard 6 songs in a row that were:
The Shins - Australia
Sufjan Stevens - No Shade In the Shadow of the Cross
Postal Service - Suddenly Everything Has Changed
Modest Mouse - Lampshades On Fire
Death Cab - Black Sun
Postal Service -…
R.E.M. - I Remember California
Queens of the Stone Age - The Blood Is Love
EL VY - Need A Friend
The National - Slow Show
The Killers - Jenny Was A Friend of Mine
Joy Division - Decades
And she's great too. "Sweet Talk" and "Dancehall Domine" are two of the better songs on their albums.
"Bleeding Heart Show" is the cliche answer but it's also the right one.
Damn, that's good.
This show is fucking hilarious.
God that teaser was absolutely brutal. Classic takedown that had good parts, was educational, and we love it.
Really glad this article about podcasts's comments has been taken over by your treatises on how plump you like your women.
Ooh that sounds good. I've been to their brewpub once and it was great, need to get back there.
Southern Tier Choklat is really good but really pricey too. Great Lakes Blackout Stout is nice, it's a less boozy than a lot of the others.
So did I. I thought it was related to that thing from a while back where he did a video with Lana Del Rey being assaulted.
Huh, I guess they just took it off the NIN artist page. Thanks for the correction.
I'm going to go ahead and mention this on a third different platform. Pitchfork has updated their review of The Fragile for the remastered version, and it's now an 8.7
Gotta be Frank and his strange, halting way of speaking
I just finished my second read of Infinite Jest, and I immediately read the first chapter again. I probably won't go any further but still.
The Shins - A Comet Appears
Talking Heads - Artists Only
Bright Eyes - Easy/Lucky/Free
The Smiths - A Rush and A Push and The Land Is Ours
Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American
Boeckner's been tweeting pictures from the studio for a couple weeks now. It's on the way.
