"He gathered up his loved ones and he brought them all around to say goodbye / Nice try"
Does "Me In Honey" count? It might be so underrated that it's now properly rated.
"They crowded up to Lenin with their noses worn off" is one of the best album-opening lyrics ever. And yeah, that song is killer.
They'd probably be my pick. Talking Heads are up there for me but R.E.M.'s longevity/consistency probably clinch it.
I think so because I watched it on there a couple weeks ago. And yeah try to catch it, it's great.
I actually like this one because everyone knows it's hacky and that's the point. With the ones on the board a lot of people use them thinking they're clever.
Thaat's right, thanks. Yeah that sounds just as bad as I remember.
I don't think so, I only listened to the first half so far but there was only just the mention that this would be the last eligible episode and voting would commence soon.
Podmass, thank you for not lying about the fact that you posted late for once.
Mitchell is my favorite author but yeah I also dislike that book. It's the only one of his I've never re-read. I don't remember what happens at the end but I remember being really pissed.
I just got Today Will Be Different by Maria Semple from the library. Like it so far but it seems pretty strikingly similar to her last one, Where'd You Go Bernadette? without the benefits of the epistolary style.
Not to sound like one of those people, but I'd be disappointed if the first 2 major deaths were both strong capable women. Hoping Elsie is still out there too.
I hate it too but at this point I just want them to confirm it so we can get past it and I can start accepting it.
Integortion?!
Lost count of the hilarious "punchable face" jokes 30 comments in or so. Good work guys.
Yeah…she's gotta really show her affection for that beast…

The Royal Tenenbaums. Owen Wilson's character writes a novel about Custer and says "Everyone knows that Custer died at Little Big Horn. What this book presupposes is…maybe he didn't?"
