Shuffle thread

What movie were they doing on HDTGM?

I only listened to the first half during my commute so I'm on pins and needles waiting to find out why Wiger is on the show.

Hayes has done some really abrupt "Bye"s in the past but that may have been the first time he actually interrupted the guest to say it.

The Hollywood Handbook/Dougboys episode was everything I dreamed. Highlights:

I don't think it had been used before but I could be wrong

Grey would be the color if I had a heart

I loved that "Something I Can Never Have" arrangement. Such a haunting song, even more so without the hilariously bad lyrics.

I thought she was fine. I usually give points to anyone from more mainstream stuff willing to do something this weird and out there.

I'm voting Trump now

Apollo 13 baby. But otherwise yeah.

They don't want to do evil deep down. It's a cry for help.

Yes yes, anything that makes money is therefore good and any bad review is couched in resentment. Very solid premises here.

I came dangerously close to spitting hot coffee all over myself when I read “But the man’s head was misshapen… badly,”

This was so hilarious and quotable that I forgot all of the quotes. I was starting to reach for the remote when they dropped in that last second joke about Crash.

It seems like no one really agrees what the best episodes are. Check out the rankings thread around here. I would suggest just going with the next one chronologically, "15 Million Merits" because it seems to be one the more well-liked entries.

Eh why not

It was driving me crazy where I knew the actress who plays Blue (Faye Marsay) from and apparently she was the Waif on GoT. Now I feel less bad for not knowing because she is pretty unrecognizable.

Talking Heads - Thank You For Sending Me An Angel
Modest Mouse - 3rd Planet
Vampire Weekend - Bryn
Jimmy Eat World - Invented
Sunset Rubdown - Shut Up I Am Dreaming of Places Where Lovers Have Wings

I always wondered if they were sincere about those. Like they say "Hey, tweet at us with this hashtag" usually with some enthusiasm, but are they really checking them and getting everyone's opinion on meal minutiae?
