I was going to say he's my favorite character but that would be kind of crazy on a show with this many great characters. But he's up there.

Just watched it. Good call.

The song at the climax of the finale isn't even here and it was the best one. I won't spoil it.

And how they get so caught up in it that George starts to leave before they even get around to discussing the race.

"Hey how did my horse do?"
"He had to be shot."

Still reading A Visit from the Goon Squad, maybe halfway through. I still like it a lot though at times I am sad it keeps moving from one story to the next just when I get invested.

My under-the-radar pick was always The Pool Guy. Unspectacular title story, but it features the Independent George and Moviefone subplots.

They did the same when I saw them last year, but it wasn't a fest, so there were still a good 2 hours of gold after running through Star Wars.

Wow really? I've seen them a couple times and the entire show was absolutely incredible regardless of which album they were promoting. That's my main hope for this one, that it inspires another touring cycle.

I'm really into this show but since I am 5 episodes in I have no idea what happened in which episode and feel unable to talk about it. Stupid binging.

I finished watching the entire series for the third time just a few months ago and this article/these comments are making me want to start it all over again. Goddamn, what a show.

"the good seems FUCKIN' cheap" is my favorite.

"I Remember You" is my favorite from that. Beautifully wistful. I bet her having a duet with a guest singer pissed Blake off too.

I hate to be that guy, but this list is shit.

Oh shit, that was him? I didn't even recognize him. Very cool.

I liked that Gamby's ex's new husband was a nice and decent guy and Gamby still hated and yelled at him the whole time anyway.

Nah, it specifically says '83 in the opening seconds.

I think Master of None did it too.

I didn't think he was rape-y. He wanted to have sex really badly, but he is a teenage boy, and went back to reading flashcards good-spiritedly when she rebuffed him.

Yeah, I just assumed the daughter he mentioned and the age-appropriate mysterious girl were one and the same.
