This might ruffle some feathers but for me there are things I like about Bill Simmons but there are also things I don't!!

Good to know, thanks! I did have the same fears about Infinite Jest and actually didn't have too much difficulty with that one, so hopefully this is similar.

I bought The Last of Us for PS4 even though I already played it on PS3. One of the best games ever so I'm down to replay. Plus it looks like there's some extra content.

I just heard it was a tough read and I'm not the best at reading! Everything else sounds up my alley.

I saw M83 on Monday night and it was an incredible show. Was also keeping tabs on the Pittsburgh Penguins' Stanley Cup Final game the whole time, and the the band finished with 2 minutes left in the game and the entire crowd crammed into this narrow corridor with one of the only TVs that was still on showing the game

Almost done with The Only Rule Is It Has to Work, about two sabermetrically-inclined baseball writers (including ex-Grantlander Ben Lindbergh) running an indy league team for a year. Very fascinating on all levels and a great read.

"Late Bloomer" owns and is sexy

Radiohead - Climbing Up the Walls
Smashing Pumpkins - Plume
Grimes - Venus Fly
The Decemberists - A Cautionary Song
Wolf Parade - Animal In Your Care

Yeah

Obviously there was a certain amount of sheer bad luck involved in yours getting picked out. i'm telling you why it was picked out and why it could rub people the wrong way.

I dunno man, if there's an article about a woman and her show that I am not familiar with, I usually take the tack of…not commenting on it? Strange I know, but so far I've avoided having my comments read out loud on a podcast so maybe it works.

Hell yeah. Painted Shut was quietly one of the best albums last year. Need to pick up Get Disowned.

When the thread is about her show and you immediately go to evaluating her looks, it is kind of weird, yeah.

Yeah that was weird. I assumed the Weird Al one had been bumped up due to the shelved Patton Oswalt episode but then they had a bonus one anyway.

Oh cool, this still exists! I was nervous for a bit.

Yeah it was pretty bad. Also a lot of complaining about how hard it is to write a book.

Saw them in January. It's been a while since I loved one of their albums but that live show is still unbelievable.

Fucking hilarious. Literal tears during the limo scene and the TMZ scenes.

Sucks for you

Do whatever you want, it's your barbecue and it tastes good.
