Ahhh I had to stop reading as soon I saw the word Uncharted. Just starting it tonight after being too busy for the last week. I'm really really psyched.

Money by Martin Amis. It's good and blackly funny but also aggressively unpleasant so it's been pretty slow going.
Carnivale wasn't my favorite but it's the one I wanted more of the most, because it was just starting to realize its potential and become something amazing and they ended on a huge cliffhanger.
I saw Savages last night and my face melted. One of the loudest, most intense shows I've ever been to. Jehnny Beth is one of the best front…people I've ever seen. Couldn't take my eyes off her even though I was trying to make a point to focus on them all equally because the other 3 are incredible too. She stage-dived…

Yes, the second Steak 'n Shake is a must-listen for how well they describe the scene outside the restaurant. (Like a scene from Twister.)
"You need to cancel this recount like Anne Frank's bat mitzvah" is maybe the most fucked-up thing ever said on this show.

Dumb topic
Good luck in the half! I just did one last week but I didn't slow my intake at all. I make no compromises at all.
I'm getting psyched to see Savages next week. Prepared to have my face melted.

There's more grooviness in the first verse of "Wolf Like Me" then in all of King of Limbs.
The whitest possible reading of the word "motherfucker" is my favorite part.
For what it's worth I started from the very beginning and quickly grew to love it. The mostly fake but occasionally real animosity builds up between the hosts gradually but also quickly, which is what hooked me.
I just saw these guys…8 days ago. They were fantastic. Did every song off The Body The Blood The Machine.
