I've heard the same but it might be different if you already work on the show. Also I'd be surprised if he ever gets anyone to read it anyway, as of this episode at least.

Yeah this was definitely the most Apatovian episode yet, with long scenes that are completely tangential to the plot. (Thinking of the taste test scene with O'Doherty's character.)
"Not so fast. I'm finishing the 10th episode right now, and this is an absolutely terrible show."
I think there's still some room for standouts. When I see a CGI clusterfuck like the third act of pretty much any Marvel movie, no matter how good the work is I'm still aware that I'm watching animation. Whereas like in Ex Machina, the subtle and well-done effects eventually made me completely forget that Alicia…
This was cool but they used pretty poor choices to showcase some of them. None of the LOTR ones had the massive armies charging into each other which were breathtaking at the time and boringly commonplace now.
I may have missed it but I don't remember seeing the mariachi song about Salma Hayek's character either.
Man, Krakowski really has a legitimately great voice. And they got so much laughter out of it.
Yeah the venue in Pittsburgh is similar, pretty tiny and cramped. Kind of surprised, I figured they were big enough to play small theaters.
Hmm looks like I am gonna have to drive down to Morgantown even though I'm already seeing them in Pittsburgh. Worth it.
It wasn't my favorite but it was certainly something to behold. I would have been cool if he just played the album straight through as it is on the record but they all sounded so huge and even more devastating live.
Emily Meade should be in more stuff
Elysian distributes pretty widely I think now that they're owned by InBev. :/ We get it here in Pittsburgh and I'm unable to take a principled stand because it's so fucking good.
About 3 years too late but I played Gone Home as the first game on my brand new PS4. I loved it a lot.
Not sure but seems like there are definitely slight variances each year. I don't have a refined enough palate to distinguish much beyond "really good" though.
Troegs Nugget Nectar. Nectar of the gods. Beautiful new packaging this year too.
I finished my Silmarillion re-read last week. I really just need a Beren and Luthien movie before I die. It's funny how everything is all cinematic universes these days and there is material for a solid dozen epic movies in this one book.
Sufjan Stevens - We Won't Need Legs to Stand
Nirvana - Milk It
Smashing Pumpkins - Appels + Oranjes
Spoon - Let Me Be Mine
R.E.M. - Departure
FINALLY, a comment about how this is a show about urban white people in their late-20s.
I still enjoy the New No Nos because they're so bad but that first segment will just never be topped.
Yes, let's discuss Kanye in one of the few articles not explicitly about him, please.
