Not to try to sell you on something you're not interested in but their most recent album (Modern Vampires of the City) is a giant leap forward in sound and subject matter and everything else. If you didn't completely hate them before I'd recommend checking it out.

This made me really sad and then even sadder when I realized Modern Vampires came out almost 3 years ago. Hurry up and entertain me dammit.

Ugh, this. He said it in some ridiculously over-the-top metaphor too, like "Theresa was consumed in the flames of his sexual desire" or something. I literally yelled "Fuck you" at the TV screen.

I haven't had a drink since Saturday because of an embarrassing health issue I have to take meds for. It's been awful but also not that bad which is encouraging.

Almost done with LOTR re-read. I think I'll be doing The Silmarillion right after because this shit is like crack to me. I should probably do it in the other order next time.

From the little I've heard of the guys in out-of-character stuff, it seems like they genuinely love doing it and would/will do everything they can to keep it going. That's what I tell myself at night anyway.
