I have it as 2nd best of the year and I am an erudite cinephile.

Wow I sure do hate this guy for continuing to write and perform material.

It really has. Those were pretty much the exact ones I thought of after I made my hasty proclamation in the immediate aftermath of this one. Good choices.

Same! I rarely get to shows in time for the opening act but I was glad to catch her, she was great. And also lovely and charming.

Best TV episode of 2015?

Worth the wait

Relax, this is China baby. You sound sexy.

Claudia is absolutely one of the best guests at this point. I was in tears during her pitches for "Romantic Tommy D" and "Never the Twains Shall Meet."

There have been so many strong episodes this year and no way can I keep them all straight.

I've read a couple people opine that June is playing a character at this point on HDTGM, but the story of her nervously asking Paul "What's its mission?" when he brought home a BB-8 toy seems to suggest the opposite.

My favorite of the year so far. Multiple people were sobbing in the theater.

I had that same thing happen with the laundry. Only they didn't have an empty basket in the laundry room to even put their clothes in, so I had to use mine, and they then took my basket full of their clothes back to their apartment. I should have tried a spec script based on that or something.

I guess it's technically not a one-off since he popped up twice, but the guy at Jiffy Park/Jiffy Dump is my favorite bit part ever. Just completely indifferent to the people he's supposed to be serving.

Erm…wo's wife is in a coma.

OFWP is definitely one of the stealth funniest people here.

I took a picture of all the beer that I had hoarded by last weekend so as to document my problem. 7 six-packs, 1 four-pack, and 2 bombers of craft beer. I live alone and have no visitors.

I can never decide if that or "Milk" is a better closing song.

I'm kind of struggling for something new to read. I just finished The Lola Quartet by Emily St. John Mandel and a library browse left me empty-handed. Maybe I'll just re-read LOTR, it's been a few years.

I generally watch all 3 LOTR extended editions over this long weekend. Should be a good time.
