That National song is one of their most depressing, which is saying a lot.

I think I didn't mention last week that I finished Purity which I liked a lot more as things came together. The way the plot is laid out non-linearly basically guarantees that I will re-read it at some point despite being lukewarm on it as a whole.

Yeah I love Intimacy, though I recognize it's probably not objectively good. "Ion Square" is probably my favorite Bloc Party song. "Signs" is really pretty too.

I would love nothing more but the Pens defense is going to be awful. Letang and Maatta are great but are guaranteed to suffer catastrophic injuries at some point, and it's pretty grim after that.
