I think I saw The Wynona Riders back in the early 90s.

Set of Joy Division (he was clearly having no fun with this). Set of Low-Life and Brotherhood. Plus loads of singles and B-sides. I loved it despite the jukebox routine.

I saw their last tour. I'll skip this one.

Hollywood mostly caters to people under 40.

That sound doesn't bother me. I get a little annoyed that song 2 or 3 on so many albums is a poppy little number that sticks out like a sore thumb. There's a straight line between "See a little light", "It's too late", "Changes" and "I Don't Know You Any More".

I love this album, and I keep coming back to it. It's pretty much perfect to me.

Flip Your Wig was not produced by Spot though it's on SST. It's awesome. New Day Rising is my favorite, but damn that production. Give those a shot.

And he rides a space dinosaur and steals some soft of space serum. IT'S STILL CANON!

Well, she did say they would regret that.

This was my first thought.

Next week on A.V. Club

"this is Chewbacca. Chewbacca is a Wookie from the planet Kashyyyuk."

HA HA HA!

Bowie was trying to get a backstage pass for his son if I remember correctly. Funny story, if its even true.

I seem to remember a stagecoach tumbling down a hill leaving some kids orphaned. Also there was at least one implied decapitation.

Twas ever thus.

Jake was on the Eddie Trunk podcast last year. He sure made it sound like this is the reason. It's hard to say. Dude doesn't speak too clearly and seems to not give a fuck.
