He did at least one last season too (I think the episode with all the birth control test getting?). I liked that he'd been elevated to Christopher Morris in the credits.

@avclub-d7d1e0309597c93cda923d6b631281cc:disqus I had no particular feelings one way or the other about Stan. But this new, bearded Stan? Ho boy. He can get it!

Oh man, that was longer ago than I thought! It is a shame. Mike White is sort of the perfect person to adapt Jon Ronson's writing and obviously Edgar Wright is just awesome.

Since he referenced Jon Ronson in this: does anyone else remember hearing that Mike White was meant to be adapting a screenplay of Them with Edgar Wright potentially directing, or was that just some beautiful fever dream I had?

Surely that can't be true?

Didn't he turn down a very similar role to this in The Trip?

Based on this and this alone, it seems that you and I lead very similar lifestyles.

Jesus, I'm sorry everyone's treating you like your opinions don't matter because you haven't fucked anybody.

I've got some mixed news for you, pal: Todd's RT was from Gillian Jacobs, not Allison Brie.

(I'm pretty sure he played the angel Islington on the show. He was one of the breakout character on The Thick of It and was pretty much the star of the movie based on it, In The Loop. Both things I would highly recommend to any person! On the other hand if this is some kind of joke I don't get because I'm not good at

It's not often I get to repeat this piece of trivia so I will do so now: the best man at Missi Pyle's wedding was an actual, factual bear.

Wasn't Malcolm Tucker in that show?

Exactly my first thought. I don't think I can accept a reality where her name is meant to sound like "petulant."

@avclub-8288999e960ebe6aca280a2c31f5645b:disqus As a former 16 year old farm girl who grew up listening to Tom Waits, I take umbrage with that. Especially "Hold On." In my experience, southern country people love "Hold On."

Wow. I've been pronouncing Petula wrong my entire life.

I now really want Aziz Ansari to go on Richard Herring's Leicester Square Theater Podcast.

I will never understand why Vampire's Kiss isn't more popular than American Psycho, considering they're pretty much the same movie except one has Nicolas Cage thinking he's turning into a vampire.

Sting, that's another hero. The music that he's created over the years? I don't really listen to it, but I respect that he's making it.

The blood-eyed cat and its manservant, Dazzler, who idles like an old van reconsidering its destination.
