Yeah, it's definitely being used like "jump the shark" in this instance - in that it's being used in place of "I didn't like it" to lend the opinion more credence.

He make an interesting Blackfish, that's for sure. I've always imagine EJO as Doran Martell, however. Robert Morse has no business anywhere near GoT. Maybe because I've only ever seen him as Bert Cooper, but still, he seems wrong for every part ever.

This is how I look at it: We don't know how long a Westerosi year is, and we don't know if a child's "nameday" and "birthday" are the same day. They celebrate namedays in Westeros and *SPOILERS* the standard wildling practice is to not name a child until their second year.

The Saxon Tales. Don't forget the Saxon Tales. Everytime I hear the word "shield wall" now, I spontaneously scream UHTRED!!!!!!!

Funny story: I always thought that the ridiculous crests described in ASoIaF were, well, ridiculous (I don't know much medieval history). So when I started searching the internet for pictures of all these armor bits and pieces that I couldn't convincingly visualize, I had to laugh my ass off when the very first…
