"Discovering that the movie wasn't a 100% product of Wiseau's heart and soul is like discovering that there's no Santa Claus."

"I always thought Tony instructed Patsy to use that "it won't be cinematic line" because Tony found out from Melfi what a drama queen Gloria is."

"Manny pursuing Haley isn't all that creepy"

just catching up on these
Since, somehow, I'd never seen the first two seasons of The Sopranos— I've loved having these reviews to go with them (and I'll probably finish up the series again, now that I have new context for the rest of it).

I won ten bucks by correctly picking the color of Gatorade the players would pour on the winning coach.

I'm thrilled at the possibilities.

Season 1 seems better on rewatch if you've seen the first two seasons, because you know where the show is going and you can identify that lots of the behavior is true to the characters (even if it isn't always very funny yet).

J.P. - Yeah, Andy fucked it up, but he fucked it up out of naivete, not malice.

That said, I'm a dude, so I pretty much agree.

If she was actually in Venezuela, returning his calls might have been difficult.

Whoa, I just watched the complete Andy Richer Controls the Universe for the first time a few weeks ago. I agree that they did this plot better.

I really liked this week's Bob's Burgers, too. I laughed the hardest at the kid's history report. "My grandparents were born during Prohibition, and this is what they sound like having sex in the room next to mine." (cue keytar sampling)

sarCCastro — that sketch is amazing. "You like that Arli$$, Paul Hah-HA!"

Who Shot Mr. Burns is between seasons 6 and 7. Too soon.

Funny, I just recently rewatched the whole Critic. It was a little sluggish at first but really picks up the pace and quality of punchlines soon. I agree that Duke and Franklin are awesome.

Lasties!

Parks and Rec > Community, but I could see a list like this putting Community first simply because it had a fall run.

Norm's Letterman is fantastic.

I really enjoyed the '95-'96 season of SNL. It was the first season of the Will Ferrell cast, new writers, and they seemed to just be more willing to take chances on weird stuff. It fell off again pretty quickly after that.

Yeah, the songs this week where thunderously unmemorable.
