In general, this episode was a so-so B for me - I liked it, but I know that New Girl is capable of much more than that, a point easily made by the culmination scene of everyone in the parking lot. I may not be the biggest fan of the episode, but I could watch that scene over and over with a big grin on my face.

We're debating what works and doesn't work about Jeff and Britta's engagement ehen we SHOULD have a shrine dedicated to Gillian's delivery of, "I wrote a paper about those dogs."

The Louie comment is fitting, since I read somewhere that he co-directed this episode with Amy Poehler.

The ending shot of Abbi and Ilana walking down the street and cracking each other up is one of the most natural moments I've ever seen. It felt so familiar, both on a level with these girls and personally. 'Til next season, girls.
