I had the pear dream again!!…..

Holy shit it is terrible.

I had a friend introduce me to the Xanth books when I was in my twenties - I was in college and taking some women's studies courses, and I devoured the first few titles. I was definitely aware of the misogyny, but pushed my uncomfortable feelings aside because I really dug the magical world he created. I hadn't read

Yes! I just watched that - put the Carol Burnett show in my Netflix DVD queue along with Hart to Hart and have been reliving some serious '70s moments. That ep with Roddy and Ken Berry is sublime. I really had a crush on Ken Berry, but never liked Mama's Family….it was through CB show and Disney movies mainly.

That Walter White….he's really changed!

I just discovered this show (after completely missing this review somehow) and I have burned through the first two seasons. It is a nearly flawless parody, and has every single comedian I adore making an appearance. It is August 2013 and by this point season 1 can be found on YouTube - the other two are still on

Yes. Best Creed moment for me, and cemented my love for him.

Yes, this bit was amazing to watch unfold as one went down one's timeline…it tends to lose something upon retelling or reporting on it. A lot of people are just not understanding how it played out in real time.

No Zardoz? That's crazy. That movie is totally bat-shit and I love it. Also has Charlotte Rampling at her prime, making me feel certain things, and I'm a mostly-straight woman.

I can't look at Kinkade's name now without thinking about 'Pym'.

I own their first two (Hints Allegations & self-titled) and they are solid albums - I don't own anything after that, but from what I've gathered it was pretty much downhill from there. Those two albums, though? I still break them out every few years.

Reading this review about a year late. I seriously can't believe how many commenters had no idea who ZMF was. I don't comment much but guess I have been lurking longer than I realized

I am obsessed with Helvetica Neue Ultra Light, and I don't care who knows it! Seriously, I think it's gorgeous.

Yup, me too.

I am really digging all the love for this movie here - I thought I was the only one! I even own it on DVD. Wow - probably shouldn't admit that :/

I was about 8 when Supertramp's Breakfast in America came out on LP. My family also had a Night at the Opera and I started listening to both of them repeatedly on the hi-fi stereophonic system with giant headphones…poring over the album covers and lyrics. Still love both of those albums, and albums in general. I hate

Coalgebraic - you know this thread is referring to the recurring P&R joke about their hatred for libraries, right?
