I've watched every episode of Mad Men, but boy is it overrated by critics. There's no way it deserves three nominations for writing when Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad get none.

As opposed to the highly realistic earlier seasons in which a chance visit to his partner's apartment caused him to witness a drug overdose which caused a plan to crash and drop debris into his backyard?

I liked the second season of The Wire. I thought season 4 and 5 were weakest. Breaking Bad might be more entertaining, but I think The Wire is the better show. If you step back and look at Breaking Bad's plot points, they're totally unrealistic. This story could never happen. I can't say the same about The Wire, with

Nah. He is way too far gone for witness protection. At this point, he'd be the target they'd be looking for, not the guy they'd use to get higher up on the chain. As far as Walt knows, he IS the highest guy on the totem pole. There is nobody above him that he can give up to save his own ass.
