I actually think Ellis's James Bond comic is his best current work, though of course Injection has that phenomenal art, and that guy who just wants to eat a good ham sandwich was a wonderful addition to Ellis's stable of demented protagonists.

I've heard that is great. The Transformers in general have a surprisingly respectable publication history in comics. The James Roberts series is wonderful.

The time has come to end Peter Parker's story. No reboot, don't kill him, just pension him off. Miles is ready and able to take over. I believe Peter has been standing for some time in the way of other young heroes who are more than ready to take on that role in the Marvel Universe.

I just read #9 yesterday, and damn this book is disturbing. I'm not sure any ostensible protagonist has ever been quite so scary in a Marvel comic. The Vision is just…not functioning correctly. I haven't enjoyed Tom King's other work as much as some people, but this really is the masterpiece everyone says.

This is a great list, and I would just point out that there are so many great comics out right now that creators like Rick Remender, Gail Simone, Sean Murphy, Sana Takeda, and everyone involved with Chew are all doing work that would have been a shoe-in for lists like this ten years ago.
