I find it hard to feel bad for lane… I mean I do, but almost all the trouble he gets into is his own fault.  He paid taxes to THE WRONG COUNTRY, out of what I assume was originally his intention to repatriate to the US but getting his shit beat up by his dad sent him back to his wife and fucked up that scheme.
