Wish Rockford Files had done a few more hard-boiled episodes like this one.

I like the Rookie—it's the only sports movie you need if you are not too picky. First half is Bad News Bears style underdog story of the kids he coaches, back half is The Natural-type story of old guy who's still got it.

I skipped ahead a rewatched season 7 recently. Storyteller and Conversations with Dead People were good. The rest was not as bad as I remembered, but still least enjoyable of the series. The shitty stuff in season 6 is shitty in a more entertaining way.

I think TGIQ is one of the best comic/ farce episodes of angel. There's a surprising amount of closure and emotional payoff in what is one of their most intentionally silly outings.
