Coming in a summer of bloated, boring, blockbusters that just blow stuff up real good, there isn't a review that could possibly be written that could dissuade me from seeing this movie.

You should do something about that. The Chair In the Doorway is even better than Collideoscope.
Agreed. And anyone who doubts Living Colour could write great song's hasn't heard Time's Up which is full of great songs like "This Is the Life."
"Type" is my favorite Living Colour song from Time's Up, my favorite Living Colour album. Too Black for White radio and too rock for Black radio, Living Colour was caught in a trap it could never get out of. I saw them after Vivid and came away disappointed thinking they weren't quite there yet. I saw them again…
The definition of disappointment: I came for the new Superman movie and I got the fourth Punisher flick instead.
"I saw Gwenyth Paltrow in a sports bra and I CANNOT UNSEE IT."
It's a hard knock life, kid. Better you learn early how to handle disappointment.
Ever feel like you've been cheated?
"First Mom gives me a pretentious as hell name and now she's fucking with my fantasies?"
Superman III, Brewster's Millions, Harlem Nights, California Suite, Critical Condition, Another You are all unwatchable hot messes.
Rochester says "Fuck Jack Benny."
God bless the A.V, Club. Even with all the departures all the unemployed comedy writers are still here.
Appearing on Paris Hilton's new album are Drake, Nicki Minaj, Busta Rhymes, and Lil Wayne…
My brother had the best critique of ultimately what went wrong with Miami Vice.
Could not disagree more about Thief. Caan is perfect as a guy supposedly craving all the trappings of a successful life but totally unsuited for a life of domestic tranquility and materialism.
Good ol' Wikipedia. I prefer to reference the original article from Slate:
I definitely recall Elias' "personal moral code" on display last season when he locked Reese and a baby in a refrigerated truck.
What have we learned, boys and girls?
I remember back in the day when I used to read Creem and Lester Bangs left the mag and when Hunter S. Thompson quit Rolling Stone.
Sounds like a win-win to me.
