You're not alone. I find her attractive too. And yes, I guess she is my type, although that has something that has historically caused me a lot of pain and has never led to anything good.

What you say about chain-watching BB is absolutely true. Although I also think another aspect of your disappointment at season 5, beyond just having to wait a week for a fresh episode, was how much weaker season 5 is compared to the other seasons. A lot of BB fans seem in denial about this, but I recently rewatched…
Well said!
When I read about season 5, after being a huge fan of the first 4, I was so disappointed (the serial-killer subplot seemed absurd and out-of-step with what had come before), and in fact actively avoided watching it for five years. When I finally got around to watching season 5, not so long ago, I loved it. It was…
I'm not going to mourn. I've already figured out my post-BB, mourning-avoidance strategy. I'm firing all the DVDs up, and going to rewatch the show from ep 1 on…
It did start off slow and unsteady, you are right, but then it found its footing (no pun intended) and became really enjoyable, smart, and - worst of all - full of potential that will now never be realized. I definitely recommend it.
He WISHES he was dating Nora Zehetner in real life. I wish I was dating Nora Zehetner in real life. Don't you wish you were - well, you know…
Because this is just what the world needs, more Seth MacFarlane! :-(
The writer indicates in the article's first sentence that Brand began 'tackling newspaper journalism' with that Thatcher op-ed in the Guardian in April. Actually, Brand has been writing op-eds (and, for a long time, a WEEKLY COLUMN) for the Guardian for over SIX YEARS. This is not something new. (FWIW, he's an…
I think that almost all of the previous episodes are worth watching. Commenters here tend to be way too hard on this show, for some reason, but it's a fantastic little gem. The first two episodes are underwhelming and you may want to skip those (the first episode is especially weak). But every episode from three…
Meanwhile, I'm a Mad Men fan who only watches Community to see Alison Brie.
I can imagine a situation where Harry and Ken had one too many drinks in a bar one night, spoke about how frustrated they were that neither of them were moving upwards in the company to the degree they would like, and Ken drunkenly and bitterly mentioned the Joan thing.
Well observed! I knew there was something odd about her smoking, but couldn't figure out exactly what.
Sorry, I meant Stan!
@avclub-b7ee6f5f9aa5cd17ca1aea43ce848496:disqus He'll never let you have sex with him, anyway. At least not until you learn to spell his first name correctly.
As someone who considered advertising as a profession during his immediate post-college drift days, I can tell you that advertising is incredibly freaking difficult, if you don't have a talent for it (I didn't).
Interesting how Don 'hates' Harry (according to Megan in the season five premier) but seems to like Stan (why else would he let his guard down with him by agreeing to smoke the joint), since Stan is a little bit like early Harry… I agree that Stan is a terrific character and has quickly become integral to the show…
Good comment. I think you're right about everything.
You get extra points for the Tootsie reference!
Do you really think Pete is capable of guilt?
