In the spirit of nitpicking, 'Are You There, Chelsea?' was not an 'instant, ignominous failure' - it hung around for a while, floundering, for sure, but it wasn't a 'Work It!' or 'iRob'-level national disgrace. To call it an 'instant ignominous failure' is unfair and untrue.

I take issue with the reviewer's assertion that the plot of the second half of this season was 'scribbled on the back of a cocktail napkin.' I have it on good authority that it was, in fact, scribbled on the front of a cocktail napkin.

The Jack Reacher books are ridiculous - they make David Morrell's 'First Blood' look like a masterpiece. And Reacher is a shameless amalgamation of Rambo, Jason Bourne and The Man With No Name. It amuses me when people talk about Lee Child as the author, since even a cursory comparison of the early Reacher novels with

I grew up in the late 80s/90s, when my older sister and I would always joke about how lazy and unfunny the Christmas episodes of the sitcoms we watched would be (we still watched them though), so I was thinking more along the lines of shows like Growing Pains, Family Ties, et al.

Remember that weird episode in which Raj was considering marrying that lesbian? I totally thought that would be at least a two-episode arc (he told Howard he was considering marrying her, because it would be preferable to being alone all the time), but they never mentioned any of it again. I like Stewart, too. But I can't understand why they don't bring back John Ross Bowie as Kripke. The show just feels so directionless and inert right now, you'd think they would wheel out all the guest stars at their disposal. That said, even Wil Wheaton's last episode was a dud (it would have been nice to see him

The Weekend Vortex was the last really good episode of TBBT - it illuminated (and partly redeemed) an extremely poor season. In that episode, all the characters were true to themselves and to the world of the show, there were some great gags, and even unexpected poignance. And then there's The Santa Simulation, an

Man, this was a terrible episode. Christmas-themed sitcom episodes are almost always awful, and I suppose this episode should get something of a pass for that very reason, but, I mean, come on, guys, try a little harder with the writing. You've got a game cast (a terrific cast, actually), and have carved out a nice

My older brother was a big fan of this show. It's funny but watching the season 3 intro on this site catapulted me back in time, to when I was ten years old and staying up late to watch this.

Actually, 'Don't Trust the B' got a fantastic bounce in the ratings last week, up 19%. But last night's episode was down 17%, so the bounce was almost entirely erased. FWIW, I'd much rather this show stuck around than, say, The Mindy Project.
