It was actually a hugely optimistic way to end things, and it was an ending that embraced wonder, as well as the intellectual pursuit of both science and faith. Covenant ripped it apart, because fuck good writing.

Prometheus is a movie that practically begs to be rewatched, and it absolutely rewards multiple viewings more than almost any other major science fiction movie to be released in the last ten years.

If they actually killed off pretty much the Grim Reaper himself that would be the lamest thing ever. Black Flash needs to be a constant recurring presence.

So right before leaving, Barry asked Harry to stick around and Harry agreed. Does this mean we're getting more Harry next season? It really says something about my level of investment in The Flash that what I'm most excited over out of everything else is the prospect of more Harry.

Upvote for mentioning the best anime ever made.

There's no way you can convince me the tears weren't at least halfway genuine. It was absolutely a con from the minute he walked in the door, but that emotion didn't come from nowhere.

As terrible as it would end up being in the long run, I was honestly thinking they'd have Kim fall down the rabbit hole of Jimmy's worst impulses with him for a while before it caught up to them and she either got disbarred or worse. I know I shouldn't be actively wishing for characters I like to blow themselves up,

Jonathan Banks looked so damn vulnerable, it's like his facade crumbled hearing that story. Master acting.

I'm about 99% positive that Chuck is only trying to finally overcome his illness so that he can better stick it to Jimmy.

Jimmy, and yes I'm calling him by his real name because that's what the show calls him, is/was a kind-hearted person. He busted his ass helping Chuck for years on end with no anticipation of reward. He just did it out of loyalty and because he loved his brother. He loves Kim deeply as well, there's no disputing that.

Upvoted for mentioning "Down", one of the most underrated of all Breaking Bad episodes. One can only hope that, like "Down", the events of this episode end up driving Jimmy and Kim closer together into a spiral of self-destruction before it splits them apart.

This probably makes me a horrible person, but I'd like to see the show go a little further in pushing Kim over her moral event horizon before she tells Jimmy to fuck off.

To quote Walter White, you're goddamn right Fuck Chuck. Jimmy's trying to gaslight him? You mean like Chuck was gaslighting Jimmy for years into thinking he gave a damn about him? And you mean that Jimmy was gaslighting Chuck because Chuck wanted to singlehandedly ruin the career of Kim, who didn't deserve to get that

Ossoff is polling 7 points ahead in Georgia. In a world where we had even a moderately competent Republican President in office, that sentence would be an absolute fiction. Instead, it's looking like we might actually pull through there. Thanks Don!

Okay, I'll bite. How exactly is MSNBC trying to rip this country apart?

I'm afraid the humor of that sailed right over my head.

They must not be trying very hard, I've been watching MSNBC almost every day recently and if there's one word I wouldn't use to describe their reporting, it's 'rightward'.

I suppose reflecting would be the right word, but it does also shape perception to a certain degree.

The impact is that the #1 news network in the country usually goes some way toward dictating popular opinion. This is a very good sign of the times.

That's about the size of it, yeah
