Ha, I'm now realizing that that's how I heard about that EP.  For what it's worth, the album seemed to me to be in line with the opening two tracks of The Sleeping Gods and therefore I have enjoyed the album immensely.

I love that these articles end up introducing me to songs that I would probably never find on my own and expanding my library commensurately.  On the other hand, I'm surprised to find no writeup for major releases like Wintersun's Time I, and Enslaved's RIITIIR.  I'd just like to see AV Club's take on those albums.
