Oh, no. He's staying with it when Kyle/Yost start (for now.) I'm jus saying this book likely survived Aaron's departure because of McGuiness.

MY BAD.

I sure am. STUPID TECHNOLOGY!

I think no better image encapsulates this whole ordeal than more of your wrong-headed ranting and persecution complex "Like"d by only you.

This sounds like the ideal situation?

I told you that Marshall Rogers Batman was great, dude! How awesome his Joker? He and Bolland probably draw my favorite Joker respectively.

Different strokes, etc. There's really not a single X-Men book I enjoy right now, though I'm hoping the Yost/Kyle Amazing is tight…

I'm trying to complain less about comics on the Internet, but GOD DAMN is it possible for Bendis to not have a final page reveal that isn't prominently featured on the cover?

No, the series that was released just so DC could maintain 52 books on the market A YEAR AFTER the company wide deluge of 52 #1s that predictably produced some failures.

I'm reading it on Marvel Unlimited and I'm surprised by how coherent it is. Usually Greg Land's art can straight-up sabotage a competent story.

And I submit Amethyst as a rebuttal.

The team felt like it was already brought together off-panel, though (with the exception of Hawkeye.) Just because we're being introduced to them doesn't make it an origin story.

I liked the first few arcs, but felt it lost a lot of steam with the AvX crossover. Then the interminable Frankenstein and Savage Land stories killed my interest. I want to read a book about the X-Men, not their students.

Spoil some XMen reveals for me?

What's your LCS? They sound tight.

I agree.

The fact that 40% of editorial is moving seems like a good way to cull the heard… until you realize the 20% of editorial that was actually good has already been cherry-picked by other companies. :(

Yeah, pretty much all of this. Though I've recently started picking up a DC book for the first time in a year with Green Arrow. That is a phenomenal book, and I'm not sure how it escaped from DC intact.

Doop #1 wasn't an origin story (but he doesn't really have an origin story, so…)

I like how there's even a Shunka analog in the story.
