I really, really, really want Andreyko to be turned loose on a new Manhunter series featuring New 52 Kate Spencer. While I know it'd be impossible to have the legacy aspect that made the previous series so great, I really miss that fucking comic almost 5 years later.

I tried the first issue of Nowhere Men and didn't fall in love with it like some people have. I think I just need to bite the bullet and read the first trade. Same with MIND MGMT. Thanks for the heads-up!

I was a big fan of his Punisher run with Fraction, but things have been pretty solidly downhill since 2007 or so.

I like how it effectively closed the door on both Xavier and Magneto's philosophies, only to have books continue to explore both of them immediately after he left. Ugh.

Yeah, right after he stopped being Sorcerer Supreme. Was that any good? I trust Waid implicitly AND Emma Rios art to top it off!

I think you just created the best way to resolve all AVC disagreements. Have you thought about running for AVC Prime Minister?

Yeah, I avoided the first issue of this after a ho-hum reaction to Satellite Sam. It was good, but not as impressive as I was expecting given the talent. It also reminded me that—as much as I love Chaykin—he draws, like, 2 faces. Worse than Dillon with that!

I thought Bedlam has substance. It's interesting to see this take on the Batman/Joker relationship.

Thanks for holding it down for IOS people. I rock Android.

I would LOVE that. The lack of a Doctor Strange series in the initial All-New Marvel Now announcement had me worried, but the fact that they just added Ellis/Shalvey on Moon Knight today gives me hope.

ALSO! I just saw that the first issue is free on Comixology and just snapped it up. Get it while you can, everyone!

What did everyone read this week?

Mission Chinese in SoHo (R.I.P.) used to have Twin Peaks themed bathrooms: Laura Palmer's prom picture on the wall, Black Lodge patterned floors, red lights, and the Twin Peaks theme being played on loop.

I would say that Officer Down is responsible for the tone even moreso. One of the few good multi-creator crossovers.

Holy fuck that's awesome.

I thought we were supposed to be surprised and excited that Pizza Dog returned.

In fact, issue 2 even references Justified.

I THINK we're supposed to have one before the end of the month?

Yeah, the delays are killing me on that book, especially since they're retelling the events of the same period issue after issue. With the delays I think we've been reliving the same 24 hours for the past 8 months.

Hawkeye.
