Yes. And (not sure if this is rumor or fact) he was rejected because he described an all-ages approach and "an executive at DC" said, "No. We make comics for 40 year-olds."

I think my disappointment laid with Chaykin. I love Chaykin, but he's not great at making characters distinct from each other. Making the book black and white didn't help that.
Former cop with a bionic arm. Former girlfriend/fiancee of Iron Fist. Runs a detective agency with Colleen Wing and sometimes organizes iterations of Heroes for Hire.
Can't argue with logic like that. Great job, sir!

@disqus_ucwsDOcMoR:disqus I've come to lose faith in his creator-owned stuff.
And this is where digital comics come into play.
I have less hope for the final Palmiotti arc, but his Daughters of the Dragon was fun, and Misty Night is supposed to figure in prominently.
I'm unsure. It might match it with reprints. The figure I saw for Hawkeye was 41k; the figure I saw for SC was 46k.
I've read chunks of the original series (1-30, 50-60) and loved them. While I'm buying all the Classic stuff via Comixology, I decided to jump onto RAH. To give you an idea of how easy that is, I read the first arc of RAH, didn't read it for 3 or 4 years, and then jumped back into it 5 issues ago. You can really drop…
I want to support Jock, but I've relegated Savage Wolverine to "wait until it hits Marvel Unlimited"; there are just so many other books I can't wait 6 months to read!
Tried watching the first 5 episodes of Arrow and hated them. Then tried picking it up later in the season while drunk; didn't end well. I'd like to start watching this season for the Flash episode; any recommendations where to start doing that?
It actually outsold Hawkeye #1, which is mindblowing.
How big's your tablet? I was reading All-New X-Men on a Nexus 7, and it really fucked with splash pages.
He received his periods and question marks through a federally funded grant. He's stuck with exclamation points only due to the shutdown. THANKS, OBAMACARE!
"Winky face"… I smell a new poster name!
Yeah, Lazarus did seem like it could have used another issue. I'd love it if Rucka followed the generally accepted "5 issue arcs followed by 3 months of hiatus" format that most Image books seek to follow. Do we know if there will be a hiatus now that the first arc was over?
I liked the first Batman B&W, but thought it's best to hang back at least until the issues are discounted. I'm hesitant to spend $5 a month for hit-or-miss stories; I heard this week's issue wasn't great.
Is he just Batman-of-Arrows?
This, times 1000. I want to try this, but I miss the middle-aged, skirt-chasing, hypocrite Ollie. This guy they're calling "Green Arrow" now seems to be the furthest thing from the flawed dude that Grell, Dixon, and Kevin Smith made me love.
