Next Skinner-Centric Ep?
Is that the one with the creepy bloated-vein infection he's given? or am I missing one?

"THE BOY"
Man, that was one thing about TNG that grated on my nerves, the constant reference to Wesley as "The Boy." I thought it was just a Wesley thing until The Bonding…again with "The Boy." What if they said "The Girl" every time they referred to….to, uh…to….oh.

Booby Trap isn't O'Brien's First Ep, is it?
I'm sure it can't be, since this is already the third season, but I was struck at how thin and tan he looked, and how much more hair he had!

The Bonding Was Great
There's nothing that I don't like in this episode. Poor Troi can't catch a break! For once, she was given a storyline in her role as ship's counselor where her telepathy was useful and spot on; I would hope that a telepath's emotional read WOULD be pitch-perfect in dealing with death of a crew

Oh GOD I forgot the scat fest that was Fight Club. I think if SNL's Pat played the lead role I still would have liked it more.

Agent/Detective/Officer Blondie went on to play one of the strumpets in Carnivale.

Grotesque is the only ep, until we get much later in the series, that I can't even watch through to the end. It bores me to tears, and I can never put my finger on why.

King of the Hill
The actress who played Oji voices Bobby on King of the Hill.

Oh, and the acting in that monologue….sublime.

Agree about Kevin's awesomeness. Also, a point for Zack - I thought the Kevin's complete and utter obliteration of the entire race of WhoSnacks kept in perfectly with the plot and characters. It worked for me as well, and I don't think it even came close to being more than the series could support, because it was

That was the best part of Phantasms to me too, as many of you have said already. It had a genuine creepy factor that didn't often execute well on TNG (see Night Terrors, for example). I thought Genesis did well with creepitude also.

Oh, and MELISSA Scully was a hot mess. Did not like.

Piling on the Hosteen lovefest. Also, not a fan of Spender or Kovarubias.

The VERY end of In Theory got to me - Data sitting there alone, beckoning to Spot. Like many of y'all I get tired of Data's Stupid Human Tricks, but that ending always struck me as achingly lonely.

Clarification - eating the Troi CAKE.

I have a soft spot for Phantasms - maybe because I could watch Worf eating Troi over and over and not get tired of it.

@Samuel Klugarsh- I agree, her hair was weird. Big fat barrel curls. Her hair and makeup didn't settle down well until several seasons later. Of all the Trek gals, she looked frumpiest in her non-uniform clothing. Too bad, because she's so fantastically leggy. She looked great in her uniform though.

Apparently, the treaty Picard cites in Evolution is called the Treaty of Armens….Armens, Armus….I wonder if we're on to something here?

I was a fan of the idea of Bev & Picard, but when their relationship became the focus of an episode ("Attached"), it played out a bit too hackneyed. I liked it better when the nature of their feelings was unknown.

Disco Ball
I'll have to rewatch, but my memory of the Sheliak is of a glittery version of Armus (the Yar-killing oil slick).
