I REALLY think Adam Scott is wasted so badly and just miscast. The man is ANYTHING but a highly strung nerd.

You get me wrong, I LOVE big band music. It's modern douchey guys who all of a sudden have some sway and decide to do a covers album of the big band hits cos, y'know, they're basically Sinatra/Darin if only the rest of us could see.

Exactly! Just let him off the leash a little. He's pretty much the straight man in Party Down too, but I feel in Parks he spends all his time just teeing up the others or giving the 'I can't believe it!' look to the camera.

I can't help but feel he's wasted in Parks. He's good with the straight man nerd stuff they give him, but he was SO good in Party Down, Eastbound and Down and even Veronica Mars.
