V Recommendation: only listen to Right Wingnut's V Recommendation.

I know y'all don't care
but I really hate this group. :

I saw a commercial for that once and never heard of it again…

retro: No doubt, but I don't think he'd deny those inspirations (he's remixed several Dilla tracks and is often compared to Dilla in a certain sense). Some of the other musicians you name I kinda disagree with, but I can't read Ellison's mind and tell you what inspired so I may very well be wrong.

iodized beat me to it. I too would like to see even 5 people cranking on shit on Flying Lotous's level. That's not say Ellison is the only original musician out there these days, but he's one of the few that truly gets my heart racing these days.

Daedelus is plenty respected as it is. Both musicians share a similar audience despite having often times very different styles.

Scott Pilgrim looks excellent and as much as I love Edgar Wright's films it's not a must-see-in-theaters for me at this point.

I think he means the [bad-ass sounding] bassy sound effect that sounds with each title card close to the start of the video. It's a recurring sound that's been in all of the Inception trailers I think.

I love that buzzing sound, to be honest.

I've probably watched the 2nd Inception trailer 30 times since it hit the Apple trailers website and have probably seen this one 4 or 5 times since it appeared online. Honestly, this is really the only film I am for sure seeing in theaters this summer. I can overlook the inclusion of Ellen Page (honestly, she's not a

:(
I actually really like Entourage. Didn't know the show was so hated.

@Robutnik: of course it's anecdotal, but I haven't found that to be the case when it comes to the people I've seen who've switched. If you know how to use one you can figure out how to use another. It's not like Macs are pre-algebra while PCs are chaos theory.

oh, but I do agree with the sentiment that Apple is kind of a dick when it comes to some of their business practices. I love their computers, but could take or leave their iPods, iPads, Apple TVs, specialty keyboards or litigious and somewhat faux-Open Source behavior. I don't think Steve Jobs is Jesus (in fact, on a

The thing that pisses me off the most is that this perceived fanboyism only tends to get hurled at Apple users as if there aren't as many - if not more - obnoxious PC fanboys. Having grown up an Apple user since the age of 9, I've been forced to be proficient at PCs (hey, I'm typing on one now!) simply because of the

Gandolfini
is an actor that I like more with each new film I see him in. Never really watched Sopranos, but I enjoyed his performances in In The Loop and Where The Wild Things Are.

I like the brainfeeder crew, but I think some of those cats are more inconsistent than flying lotus. I have a decent amount of ras g stuff, but nevertheless feel like some of his tracks are awesome while others are just a little too plain for me. He's a dude I'd like to hang with, though. Flying Lotus and Gaslamp

DIE HARD: A HARD DEATH

Maybe
I need to listen to their first two albums again, but I found GetBack to be their most engrossing effort (can't speak for this album - haven't listened to it yet). I've never quite understood all the hype 9th gets. His production on LB's first two albums was unremarkable and what I've heard of his stuff with

It's not the cost
that's most surprising about this, but the fact that there's the potential for it to be as flooded with commercials as regular TV. $9.95 a month? Hulu's owners do know Netflix's instant streaming option is available on a cheaper plan than that, right?
