No.

I've never seen her Oscar-nominated performances in the 1940s.

Every Which Way But Loose was a good flick. There will be no disparaging it.

I never saw Flags of Our Fathers but wasn't the theme similar?

I wept after a period of self-reflection.

Recent conversion to Christianity?

No, Merv Griffin took them all with him.

Oh, I'd take Ecstasy and fornicate with a pig while on British television in return for seeing that movie.

Johnny Carson in The King of Comedy is one of those things I wish I could have seen. Like if Carson agreed to do some readings or a film test or something. Obviously in 1980, he had to clout not to do those things but his Midwestern aloofness would have been interesting to see on film.

I read the article in Spy about that film and also heard a few interviews with Harry Shearer about it. Good Lord, I'd kill to see it. Once in a while you hear it may indeed be released. I am guessing certainly not in Lewis's lifetime.

Orange juice in a weird way is as American as apple pie.

I like Hulu better than Netflix. Though I might feel differently when they lose The Criterion Collection. Anyhow, I am considering ditching Netflix. I watch it less and less and I use a VPN, so I can stream whatever off of Putlocker.

Jane Fonda has had work done also but the difference is she has had age-appropriate work done. Jane Fonda is 78 and you watch Grace and Frankie and she looks a little under 70. Not tight like the loose skin was tied to a bungee cord and she was thrown off a bridge. Fonda also has a good colorist and a disciplined body.

I was checking the comments section to see if anyone else said that. I wanted to be the first. Alas.

I think Ignatiy Vishnevetsky is dreamy. I'd love to have a nice weekend in a good hotel with him. He wouldn't have to do anything in bed but he'd definitely have to share the room with me.

I love "Stranger on the Shore". It has an earnestness which renders it charming.

I am glad you said it. I arrived at the comments section and I typed, "Kenny G plays the soprano saxophone."

Those poor diplomats, Gromyko excepted, didn't know what was going on. That was an impossible position given if you didn't march in line you could be sent to a gulag.

I always liked The Missiles of October. WSBK in Boston used to play it once a year it seemed. It was a good television drama and very spare in its production. I strongly doubt American viewers would stand for something so bare bones now.
