I am with you. I love Claire, who seems brittle but has a great deal of backbone. It would be more interesting if the machinations were shown through the eyes of the marriage instead of being an add-on to Washington intrigue. She could be like a Patty Hewes.

This just opened in Washington, DC and I left the office today at one to catch the matinée.

My McRaney renaissance came from Deadwood. I never watched Major Dad, so having an inkling that he was a comedic dad character gave his evil more resonance with me. He was so hardcore.

Kate Mara blew this show for me. I am a DC junkie. I like this kind of intrigue. I don't even mind Spacey's überhamminess. The final straw was when Zoë put on Claire's dress. She is one of those brats with a little school who think they are clever and playing intelligent mind games when instead they are coming off as

I am sorry, and I am a cinema hoo-hoo, but this is like watching paint dry.

My argument was shorthand for saying that there is good writing and bad writing. Like when Dawn stayed at Peggy's and there was that clunky shot of Peggy wanting to take her purse away. Oh, Eat Your Peas, folks.

Yes, Trudy was the highlight and we don't see her enough. People forget what a bar of steel resides inside her. Remember how she roped Don into coming to dinner? Or how about when she called Pete into the kitchen when he was vacillating about becoming partner?

Am I the only person who wanted to see the wee baby Seamus this season?

That was more the result of the rules imposed by The Ed Sullivan Show than anything else. You were required to perform with the house band and no lip-synching was allowed.

This is a bad idea. They should stick to making awesome shows we cannot live without and not attempt to drink from the same well over and over.

No, but Jerry Vale's version of "Anarchy in the UK" is pretty freakin' schweet.

I like the disco version of "Moonraker" at the end of the movie.

"Wouldn't it be great if all these songs were on one album?"

Am I the only one who would have killed to see Elvis in A Star Is Born

Sorry, but this movie was ruined for me. Too many stoners forcing me to watch it after two bong hits. The same kind of people who ruin Dark Side of the Moon and most of the genre of Jazz.

I am pleased to see Hershel has some antediluvian coitus options now. Good Lord, that shot of the people leaving the bus looked like a retirement home pulling up to the Taj Mahal in glorious AC. Seriously, why did they not go to Woodbury? There was electricity and running water. Idiots.

I highly suggest the audio version.

I am pleased Todd (and I have to admit his writing is my favorite on here) gave a shout-out to Kiernan Shipka. First of all, I am not a fan of child actors, because I do not think they can act. This kid has the goods. I don't know to what degree her performances are manipulated, but given the tracking shots and lack

I have it on DVD, I think it does indeed hold up well. This has to do with the fact that the Japanese is in Japanese without subtitles. You learn as Blackthorn does and helps vest you in the characters and story. Also, it was actually filmed in Japan which lends authenticity.

I wish I could buy Jesse Pinkman.
