I don't understand the mentality that GSN should show the same shows from 30-40 years ago to diminishing returns until the end of the time. I know US gameshows have been pretty overwhelmingly terrible for a long time, barring the long-standing syndication hits, but that's not really a good enough argument, and fan's

Imagine a situation where Russia cooperated with China to extradite US business execs to Russia to be tried in the Russian legal system. There'd almost certainly be outrage in the US in that case, regardless of the merits of case.

That particular example is a dumb false equivalence, but there is a real issue. Essentially, the US feels it has jurisdiction over things that have very little to do with the US on the flimsiest of pretense (e.g. something once touched a US web server or bank). People are politely ignoring the slightly troubling

On Periscope, they strongly implied that Rick & Morty has already been unofficially renewed for season 3.

Given all the remakes and reboots, I think the networks are now ready for my pitch of a gritty, dark mockumentary continuation of Kenan & Kel.

How did I not know that Maya Rudolph was Minnie Ripperton's daughter?

Meh. I thought his hula-hooping was quite charming.

The German version of Utopia (called Newtopia) accidentally livestreamed a producers meeting with the cast, which showed the executive producers dictating the future direction of the show, including individual plans for each of the contestants. Whoops.

Except Happy Endings *sobs*

I'm sure the dump truck full of money will soothe them.

Furious 7 did $67m on Friday, putting it on course for a $150m weekend. The various box office sites were predicting around $100m. I did think they were understating it.

It does incredibly well. It's pretty much the second or third highest-rated live-action syndicated sitcom on cable (only beaten by TBBT and sometimes Modern Family), beating a whole bunch of newer shows. It skews young too.

The reruns do incredibly well on Nick at Nite.
